This is just a quick post.

Many say that 2010 is not only the start of a new year but also a start of a new decade. It is true that we are having a new year but starting a new decade is entirely false. We do not have year 0 and as such the first year of a decade always starts with a _ _ _ 1.

Thus, the decade we are living in started on 2001 and will end this year 2010. 2011 will be the start of the 2nd decade of the 21st century.
